that would be good in theory but how in the hell would that work out? Hopkins and dawson get roughly $1.2-$1.5 million each for an undercard fight? Then canelo, khan, etc. would get even more than that? The entire card at that point would be like $5-$6 million or more just in purses, not including site fees, advertising, etc. That's not economically feasible.

For the amount of money both hopkins & dawson will demand they would certainly have to headline. And because of the fact it would have to be on regular HBO, likely the undercard couldn't be that great because again of the funds. So realistically hbo would have to put up roughly around $3 million just for them, unless they are willing to take big paycuts which seems unlikely.

Maybe HBO puts up the money, as the fight would be early in the year and sometimes HBO has a habit of wasting lots of money early on (then pays for it later in the year) so there could be a shot.

Aint no one fighting for half just out of good will. If that was the case we'd regularly get the most stacked cards every single card, top to bottom would just be awesome. Come back to reality man
