Lets but it this way for the blind people who can't see Cotto's superior skills.

Look at their resume, Cotto lost to - Margarito (probably loaded, revenged loss), Pacquiao
Ortiz lost to Maidana (crude slugger), Drew with Peterson, Only worth while win is Berto who everyone knows was a paper champ who Cotto would have smashed.

Cotto's experience would overwhelm Ortiz who seems to fold under the pressure. Cotto unlike Mayweather would not only box but apply combination punches that I think would rock Ortiz back. I'm sure Ortiz would land some solid punches, but I think the old stigma of Cotto's chin has been put to rest. Good action fight, but I see Cotto winning by TKO.

I think Ortiz might be dangerous for the first 2 - 3 rounds, then I can see Cotto simply beating him up until he finds a way out of the fight.

I simply do not seeing this fight going any other way. Cotto is being vastly underestimated in here by so many. Cotto has dealt with monster punchers before, he deals with it.

Cotto doesn't do too well against southpaws with power though. He did the chicken dance against Corley and Zab and we all know what happened against Pac.

I think he's a smarter fighter since then and the was at 140

              Also Quintana was a southpaw.

The Pac fight is the Pac fight.

              Nobody else fights like him.

Ortiz is just to green he not ready for the elite look at the mayweather fight a ****** mistake cost hime the biggest lost ever. Cotto has more then one way to win while Ortiz just hopes he can land a big one. Even if he lands that big hook he doesnt put them a way. I see this as Cotto vs Torres all over again

Your presence is missed Dean. We need more logical people around here.

Ortiz is very talented but he's a mental midget, Cotto would just fight him till Ortiz decides to look for a way out.

be honest who is better Peterson or Clottey?

all you need to do is look at who Cotto been fighting recently and you will know where he is at Ortiz has better conditioning then Cotto, Ortiz is as fast if not faster and Ortiz hits harder and throws the better combinations this is a fight I will pay to see but I know for a fact it will never happen.
