Cotto beats Ortiz. Ortiz couldn't deal with that jab, he would have trouble getting off and while both fighters can break, I think Ortiz would break easier.

The only thing that would concern me is that high right hook that Ortiz throws right behind the lead left. That's how Cotto got hurt against Corley, he took a high right hook on the temple.

But I think Cotto would previal, definitely. Late stoppage.

Great fight! I think the styles mesh incredibly well too...

Id like to think Cotto with his experience, more well rounded boxing and superior defence could outbox Vic and catch him with some big left hooks to stop him.

I would Not be surprised if Ortiz buzzed him badly a few times tho, it IS i think a winnable fight for Ortiz who i feel hits even harder than Miguel at this time and has a speed edge too, going by the first Berto fight a better engine as well

Would be a great fight. I don't know who to favour because Ortiz is relentless, has speed, power and is southpaw. Cotto has skills, a great left, speed and power.

I do not think Ortiz can take a punch like Margo. Its helps that his defense is a little better.

Cotto would probably enjoy fighting a guy his own size again.
