    DEAL WITH IT.
Umm Okay.... Dwyer tells it like it is I aint alone in this the only ones happy with this are Cottosexuals and Tony haters even Miguels trainer said the stoppage was too fast

These "would have" and other conspiracy theories don't add anything to what happened. The facts are that Cotto was dominating the fight and way ahead on all scorecards and rightfully so. Margarito had 9 full rounds and was not able to be really effective. What is the basis to say that he would do in 3 minutes what he was not even close to doing in 27?

I think Margarito, as usual, showed a lot of courage and desire and I was admiring that, but that disappeared after all the excuses he's mentioned and the way he refuses to give any credit to Cotto. I know they hate each other but it would be a very honorable thing to take your loss like a man and go back to the drawing board with your head up high. It gets even worse when some of his fans just deny the facts and act as if Margarito just needed 30 seconds of the 10th round to put Cotto to sleep out of nowhere when it was clear that Margarito had vision problems, was getting tired also, and seemed much weaker than in 2008. Otherwise, how was Cotto able to push him to the ropes on several occasions? Honestly, who expected to see Margarito against the ropes in a fight with Cotto? I know I did not expect it.

Cotto had a very good fight plan and it worked. It's time to turn the page and stop dwelling on what might have been.

I think if these 2 fought without a finite number of rounds then Margarito wins 90% of the time because of their styles and Cotto doesnt have the power to hurt Marg.

Cotto was slowing down but he probably would have lasted the 12. If it was a 15 rounder then Marg probably wins.

More rounds = more chance for Marg but 12 didnt look like enough this time. Marg has got a little worse (plus his eye is knackered) and Cotto fought a smarter fight

I just watched the last round on YouTube. Margarito clearly had his best round. Cotto landed some good shots, but he landed great shots in the first fight in rounds 9 and 10. In fact, Cotto won round 9 in the first fight on Ledermans scorecard and would have won round 10 if didn't get hurt at the end of the round. Margarito was started to hunt Cotto down. Go watch the last round. Cotto was running for dear life. And don't give me this ****** answer that the only one who was in danger of getting KO'd was Margarito. In two fights, Cotto hit Margarito with everything and didn't hurt him once. Go watch the last round and tell me Margarito wasn't coming on. Look at Margarito at the end of the round. He motions to his corner that Cotto is done. Look at Cotto's expression at the end of the round, he was frustrated and tired. Would Cotto have survived? We will never know.

****ig idiot. Anyone who watched that last round knows Cotto was putting a beating on Margarito. For god sakes he landed 51% of his power shots on that round and was staring to back Margarito to the ropes. Cotto won every single round and dominated if the fight whent on another round Cotto would have done even worse damage to Margarito.

Cotto had Margarito bleeding from the eye, the nose and the mouth.

Watch the last round *****! Cotto landed good shots, but they didn't effect Margarito at all. Watch the video. Who is running and holding? Who is back peddling to the other side of the ring constantly? Who is coming forward like a maniac? The pace was starting to pick up. Margarito threw 100 punches in that round. I don't if Margarito would have stopped him. All I'm saying the fight was breaking Margarito's way.....*****!!!

I'm with you man. Cotto looked exhausted going back to his corner at the end of that round. Not saying Marg would have won...but to me its pretty obvious that the more rounds this fight went on there would be an exponential increase in Marg's chances of stopping Cotto

The last three rounds would have seen Cotto fade badly. He was exhausted.
