Cotto put on a boxing clinic. Margarito had only pressure and his heart not skills. Cotto was never hurt, he was focused, calculating, and determined to expose the difference between a true boxing champion and a dirty cheating punk. Margarito got roughed up, I loved when Cotto would spin him around and even pull his head down, no respect. Love the victory. Cotto looked like the champ he was and Margarito is garbage since he got discovered his skills are whack and he needs to cheat. Doctors saved Margarito from his right eye. He is so blinded in his ******ity he actually thought the docs were protecting Cotto LMFAO... retire Margarito or make my day and let Sergio Martinez exact the same revenge and probably damage you permently!

Theres not a doubt in my mind margarito is a cheat now.. He ruined 2 undefeated fighters careers.. cintron and cotto.. he litereally cost both of them millions.. unbelievable

I have watched boxing for over 20 years and I have never seen a fight stopped liked that. He was the aggressor in almost every round. He WAS building momentum... one of the judges gave him the 9th round. I understand why it was done the way it was done but lets not pretend... Cotto was winning but I wish the fight went on longer...it looked like it was about to get interesting.

Fights like these should be stopped to protect the health of the fighter...that's why there is a ring doctor. Marg was losing across the board and had a slight chance to win and Marg risking permanent blindness was not a chance that the NYSAC was going to let him take. I wish that the fight would've gone one more round but in the end it was a good stoppage considering that the doctor was looking out for Marg's health and not his pride.

It was definitely a legitimate stoppage. Hell, everyone knew that if this went deep into the fight with Margarita's eye swollen that there would be a stoppage. So what's all the complaining about now?

I would have loved to see Cotto get a chance to make that criminal Plasterita's eye pop out and roll on the canvas. After bringing street thug antics into a professional sport risking the health of real fighters, he deserves it. His corner should have done whatever was necessary to keep that eye from swelling shut.
