This is coming from the same guy who said he couldnt feel if his wraps were ever illegal but yet he was 100% sure that illegal wraps werent used in the first fight with Cotto.

Margarito is a bum. Always was, always has been. Cotto righted the boxing world.

LOL at the Margotards and there lame excuses. I was hoping the the fight didn't get stopped and Margo took more punishment.

Margo is nothing but a cry baby now, he even complained when Mosely KOed him

Hats off to Cotto, let's not take anything away from him he put in a superb performance, he did things I didn't think he was quite capable of. He changed up his gameplan from the first fight perfectly to neutralise Margarito. So what did he do differently, well instead of backing up in straight lines and going to the ropes where Marg could hammer him he used lateral movement so he was much harder for Margarito to find. When Margarito did close the gap and force his way inside he stopped Margarito uppercuting him by doing several things. He closed the gap further and clinched, he threw hooks from angles, he sat on his punches more to stop Margarito pushing him back and stop him. Another thing he did was use the occasional headbutt coming off the ropes to take away Margarito's rythm. Brilliant strategy, well done to him and his trainer, they put in a master class.

Margarito fools nobody but himself when he makes statements like that. His Manager should coach him to shut up and take his loss like a man. He just might find a fan out there if he did.
                Talk about being in denial.

No excuses now, Margarito knew full well how his condition was when he signed the contract, and if he is going to complain about his eye and how it played a role in the fight, well he should've stopped that macho bullcrap he pulled in the Pacquiao fight. On second thought, never mind. I've always blamed Robert García and Laurence Cole for Margarito's condition. Margarito is the type of fighter who has a stubborn toughness in which he must be protected from himself.

Margarito would've probably had a little bit more success in the later rounds, but there was no way Cotto was getting stopped in those final three rounds. Cotto could've boxed so-so and give Tony the last three rounds 10-9, but you saw the scorecards. Cotto was headed to a clear decision either way. Cotto looked tired because of the movement he exerted, not from the body shots of Margarito. He had a gameplan, he executed it, it worked. Give credit where credit is due, just as I would've given credit to Margarito had he won.
                  Amen......

We can hate Margarito all we want, but lets be real. Not about him having a chance to win, but about seeing fighters in way worse conditions physically and fight wise and the fight continue with no problems.

remember Eric Morales vs Maidana?? Margarito was building momentum, and just like in the first fight he was hurting Cotto big time. Too bad for his eye, but Mexicans die in the ring , unlike Puerto Ricans. Cotto never hurt Margo and was holding for dear life, a sign that he was breaking down. Cotto´s Mouth and face were pretty bruised.
