Are you seriously a boxing fan?

I'm a huge Pac fan, since seeing him on the Tyson-Lewis undercard...he's had some huge wins against Barrera, Morales II, ODLH, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito...but this would definitely be his biggest win IMO. (plus I'm Filipino )

I'm not a fan of Mayweather, overall...he's an amazing defensive boxer but he's got a horrible attitude and his Gatti and Ortiz "moves" aren't very sportsmanlike IMO, especially since he doesn't need to take advantage of those types of situations because he's already that good.

IF this fight were to ever happen, my heart would be with Pacquiao but my money would be with Mayweather.

I'm not sure how this would rank in boxing all-time though...

It goes without saying that both are great fighters. Does Floyd look like the favorite right now? Sure. But as you should all know by now, anything can hapen in the sport of boxing. Pacquiao winning certainly woulsnt be the craziest thing to happen as some "fans" claim.

Did I say i was even picking him? Im not partisan to either guy, i just think Floyd probably has more in the tank at this stage.

Trust me Pac is not shot. He just tried to lure Floyd into fighting him and he succeeded.

If Pac beats Floyd, it would make him easily the best fighter of this generation...and probably the best fighter I have witnessed in my lifetime (RJJ, BHop, Tyson, Holyfield, everyone can sit down)...if Pac taxes Floyd's ass I will become a "*******" instantly.

Sadly, this isn't the case. I'm considered a "*****" on here, but I really just like boxing and feel like at 28 I have watched enough to properly gauge talent. Floyd is going to embarrass Pacquiao in a wide decision at the very least, and KO him early at the worst. We see people talking about Floyd being featherfisted and things on here all the time, but he really isn't. Neither of these fighters have 1 punch KO power in their good hands. The way Pacquiao launches himself off the canvas will only lead to his embarrassing demise. Even if he doesn't launch himself the way he loves to, what is he going to do? Out box Floyd Mayweather Jr? Yeah good luck on that one son.

It's never going to happen and to those that believe it will have a kind of faith that saints would envy. Because it calls upon the individual to engage in magical thinking, which is to say, it imparts Manny with skills and abilities he simply doesn't have.

Is Floyd Mayweather an obnoxious punk at times, sure and a few degrees worse. But conversely what he does in the ring is compose symphonies with his fists. He is a true boxing prodigy and everything he does in the ring reinforces this truth. I agree, his antics push the envelope sometimes but we shouldn’t be distracted by theatrics and promotional stunts. I think he's earned our consideration because of his sheer dedication alone, surely that at least must earn some respect in these parts, right?

Manny is a different kind of fighter with a different kind of greatness and that should be okay, but for some reason it isn't and that's that I guess.
