Haye didn't come close to winning a round. He was totally outclassed, schooled, dominated and humiliated by Wlad.

It was a one-sided beatdown. Another masterful dominant win for Wlad.

So why does Vitaly need to fight him? He didn't avenge his loss to Byrd and the excuse you guys love to use is because Wlad beat him for him. Well Wlad has already outclassed, schooled, dominated and humiliated Haye, as you've so conveniently pointed out. So what's the point?

He is fighting Haye for the money obviously. Vitali vs Haye will generate more interest than Vitali vs anyone else.

And anybody with eyes in their head and a functioning brain could see Vitali was beating Byrd clearly when he pulled out because of his arm.

Actually, he is right. If you average out the scoring, you'll see Wlad won by 10 rounds to 2. It's all in my signature, my friend.

It's a fraud of a fight and the fact that it WILL generate interest shows how bad the division is.

And anybody with eyes in their head and a functioning brain could see Vitali was beating Byrd clearly when he pulled out because of his arm.

Anybody with a functioning brain also knows a fight isn't over till it's over. It's a fact Byrd took the fight on 10 days notice. It's a fact the commentators commented about Vitaly sucking wind at the end of the 6th round. It's a fact Byrd was looking better as the bout progressed. It's a fact Vitaly was landing nearly 50% less of his punches than in all his other fights. It's a fact the German crowd was applauding Byrd for being so game. It's a fact Byrd made Vitaly look worse than any other fighter before or since. And it's a fact that Vitaly said to the crowd immediately after the stoppage "Im terribly sorry, but Im going to get my belt back". It's a fact he never got that belt back nor did he try rematching the former super middleweight who took it from him.

Some fans like to conveniently ignore these facts, but they'll jump all over Lewis for retiring instead of giving a rematch even though he WON.

Now Vitaly wants to fight a guy who was just shut out in his last fight and we shouldn't question the validity of it?
