He was the best heavyweight in the world a few years ago. I've noticed that he has declined in recent years, though. He now gets hit by punches he never would have a few years ago. His hand speed is fading, too. You can't expect a fighter to have as good reflexes and hand speed at 40 as he does in his 20s and early 30s.

Wladimir is definitely a better heavyweight at the moment.

As much as I hate to say it, Haye stands a very good chance at winning here. There have been a couple of fighters who have been able to defy the laws of aging but Vitali isn't one of them.

Another example of this Heavyweight field being the worst of the last century.

haye's chances are just slightly better than adamek's. mostly because he does pack a punch. but lennox lewis also packed a punch and still couldn't drop vitali. it's obvious haye wants this fight for the payday.

Haye will be running more than he did against Valuev.

Haye has earned a little respect from me for not asking for 50-50.

I'd still like to see Vitali knock him out.

He took several of Wladimir's right hands and didn't go down. Wlad also looked bruised after the fight. Give the guy some credit.

I like Haye. Not sure why people hate him so much. Yeah he's got a big mouth but I welcome that in boxers, especially the heavyweights. And I wasn't turned off by his performance against Wlad either. I thought he fought a smart, sharp fight. Overly cautious? Sure. Consider the opponent. It ust wasn't enough against a great heavyweight. Anyway, not sure how I'm feeling about this fight, regardless of his cut. Reeks of him fighting for the check--never a good idea for the fighter or the fans.
