This is why boxing is in the state it is. You have a world class boxer who fights guys while they are still dangerous, loses a few times, and all of sudden he's a piece of ****. Every all+time great boxer has lost- even the great Muhammed Ali. I don't know where exactly Cotto fits in the list of great welterweights. However, what i do know is that it's total bull**** for anybody to make him seem like less than a great champion. The public ****s on him while praising paper champions that have their careers carefully crafted. This is the very reason why the UFC has such a common-man following, while boxing is more and more a niche sport. People can see through the crap. But, no doubt, the very people that waste their time dissing Cotto will be on their knees licking his nut crust if he were to win against both Margartio and Pac in rematches. At that point, all the analysis changes....

Cotto is an all time great. No need to defend that matter when his resume speaks for itself.

Never ducked and dodged anyone and only two losses following this risky pattern. One which is tainted by a wrapping controversy, one which he'll have the opportunity to avenge this December. The other came at the hands of what many consider to be the greatest fighter of all time.

Cotto is a sure Hall Of Famer and all time great when it's all said and done. A rematch and win over Pacquiao would solidify that.
