it speaks more for his lack of competition than anything. hes a consistent fighter dont get me wrong, but he only fought one great oponent in his entire career and got stopped.

if any of the great HWs fought in this era they would be undefeated and have lost even less rounds. and btw i challenge the notion that vitali lost less rounds than any other champion, i think mayweather and pre HW RJJ both lost less rounds and thats just off the top of my head.

Youre right about Roy who lost like no rds in a decade but as for Floyd, he didn't just lose like 5-6 rds to Castillo, most experts think he lost the fight altogether. Vitali is a beast and he has been fighting almost all top ten ranked fighters since he returned from a 4 year layoff.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round and almost got KO'd, he was badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outboxed, outworked, outmuscled and outlanded by Vitali.

If you understood this quote.. you'd realize the validity of it.. Rocky Marciano was 49-0.... Vitali is 43-2..... does this mean Rocky was more dominant enroute to his 49- 0... Vitali's destruction of all his opponents is much more thorough than Rocky's was & like i said Floyd might be undefeated but has exhibited more flaws in his arsenal.... the fact that Vitali is practically undefeated himself & if boxing kept it real.. those losses he suffered would be no contests... those fights weren't completed.. that's all that was.. if they were.. there'd be no way in hell he'd have losses on his resume.
