I think that Marquez would have KTFO the cracked-egg version of Hatton that Pac fought..... I know that Marquez would have KTFO the Diaz that Pac fought..... I am absolutely positive that Marquez would have KTFO the old shrink-wrapped Hoya that Pac fought..... and dude, just fkn stop it, the guys I just mentioned were NO CHALLENGE AT ALL for Pac, and would have been beaten by most of the top guys in the division that they fought in.

Yep, Marquez would have beaten him as well, by unanimous decision, although I can see Cotto providing different problems for Marquez in that fight..... and Margarito? The fact that you even mentioned him shows where you are at.

I disagree with ****m, Marquez isn't a better fighter than Pacquiao, Marquez wouldn't beat Clottey, Marg in my opinion cuz they too big, Pacquiao wouldn't struggle like Marquez did against Juan Diaz.

OBVIOUSLY Marquez is a better technician, a better scientist, he knows how to fight Pac but he will never have 40% of Manny's record.

Where I also disagree with Naz is the Marquez won all the 3 fights stuff.

I mean, those 3 fights could have gone either, I'm tempted to give the third to Marquez, but honnestly Pac landed more, Pac vs Marquez fights always are quantity(power, work rate) vs quality (clean punches).

No, I completely disagree, you are speaking literally, Naz was speaking P4P (e.g. Wlad Klitschko could beat Nonito Donaire, but he is not even on his level P4P). If all things were equal, which is what P4P signifies, then Marquez beats all of Pacquiao's opponents, most easily, and then he beats Pac.

Jeez dude, a 38yo lightweight just leaped TWO DIVISIONS and beat the supposed P4P #1..... there is no question of who is the better fighter, JMM answered that question on Saturday.

Pacquiao should be criticized because of the media/arum/roach acting like he is the one of the greatest boxers of all time. He is way overrated.

I've said this for a long time. He has limited boxing skills.. He is just very fast/strong/usually relentless and a greatly conditioned athlete... however I did not think pacquiao would lose to an older 38 year year old light weight champion named juan manuel marquez in which he clearly did get beat.

Ok, for one, Marquez fought better than he fought in the first two bouts w/Pacquiao , so AGE had nothing to do with it. He did not fight like a man who's burned out or who's in his decline....he was impressive so give the man his proper credit. Welter or Lightweight, Marquez will always give Pacquiao fits because he's a better technical fighter than Pacquiao. the Pacquiao that JMM fought last week was not even close to being a 'great' fighter -- we saw an undertrained, unfocused fighter who spent much of the time skittering around the ring like an animated bobblehead doll -- who missed a million opportunities to land lead punches -- who rarely engaged effectively during exchanges and seemed to have no Plan B when Plan A was clearly not working....

They only had a Plan A, when has Pac ever had a plan B ?

Judging by his Mayweather outing, Marquez was old, faded, and he could not hang at welter..... so Team Pacquiao disadvantaged him on the scales and then tried to blow him out of the ring physically, with Manny's speed/power advantage.

It serves them right, they got what they deserve.
