    How do you rate Bute?

I'll be honest, I haven't seen an awful lot of him but I'm not impressed by him.

Sure he has tools but he's still very untested and I'm just y' know not sure of this guy & how good he is.

I expected Glen to at least test him and IMO that was a damn sparring match. Boring 'fight' & Bute sure he probably shut-out Glen & deserves props for that but I see nothing based on that performance that leads me to suggest Bute is a world beater & could hang with the likes of Froch, Ward, Kessler etc

Maybe I am being unfair to Bute but his best win is probably against Magee, a guy that got absolutely crucified by Froch before Froch was prime.

30 fights against that level of opposition and he is No1 in the division? Eh?

30 fights, look what Groves has done in 14.

You can't really think this guy goes from where he is to beating the Super 6 winner or the losing finalist, surely?

He is the 3rd best SMW hands down imo,but he loses to either Ward or Froch from what I've seen of him..

I think he is the best in the world at 168, he has looked more impressive against all common opponents of Ward and Froch.

          3rd best? Behind who?

On paper at least I'd put Ward, Froch, Kessler ahead of him.

I'd like to see him fight maybe Pavlik if he got his act together.

I can't put Kessler ahead of him based on inactivity and Bute does/has defended his belt a bunch of times now..

I think Froch beat Magee way better then Bute, when you take into account when Froch fought him and when Bute fought him..Johnson imo does not count,Froch Johnson was contested on a higher level then Bute Johnson was..I don't know if it was the friendship or Johnson showing his age,but something was off there..

He probably deserves to be ranked 3rd behind Ward and Froch.

I honestly think Dirrell is more talented. In fact, hes probably the most talented at 168.

                  Except James DeGale of course.

Bute is a good fighter. One of th ebest at 168 currently. Very talented.

But at this point, he hasn't got the resume to be called the best. Yet, atleast.
