How do you rate Bute?

I rate him highly.
He made Johnson look really bad.
He ko'ed the guy who Kessler couldn't ko despite using his head for a speed bag and failing to miss (Librado Andrade).

He knocked everyone out he should have so far which he means he has some damn good power.

He's unorthodox enough to make people miss and being a southpaw and long, he's really hard to time.

He performs well in front of large crowds. His defense is ok, but he's good enough speed to deal with people.

He has so many good qualities I have to rate him pretty high.

His comp isn't super six comp but if you go down the list he hasn't really fought many bums, he's beaten plenty of solid, if unspectacular guys.

I think Froch beat Magee way better then Bute,when you take into account when Froch fought him and when Bute fought him..Johnson imo does not count,Froch Johnson was contested on a higher level then Bute Johnson was..I don't know if it was the friendship or Johnson showing his age,but something was off there..

Johnson injured his arm in the 4th (shows the swelling in the post-fight interview) so was basically one handed for 8 rounds vs Bute. He also believed he won the fight against Bute.

There was nothing off Bute just made Glen Johnson look really really bad which is something Froch couldn't. He also beat Sakio Bika much worse than Ward was able to.

Johnson is pretty comical in his robbery claims.

He always does that even when he loses 8 to 4 and stuff like that.

He did look awfully big compared to Johnson though.

I like Bute, and think he may be better then people give him credit for. I still rank Ward and Froch above him though.
