There was something off; Johnson fought most of the fight with an injury.

    Watch Glen's post-fight interview here at 11m53s:

Also Johnson never claimed he beat Froch so he obviously thought more of Froch's performance. I scored the Bute fight by a bigger margin personally, but Johnson clearly wasn't firing the right hand with any authority although I don't think it made any difference to the outcome.

      Good find Green sent...

Something was off with Johnson(not trying to take anything away from Bute)I've followed Johnson for yrs,and never seen him so flat..I thought maybe age had finally caught up to him,but if he had a legit injury then it explains a lot..

Very talented quick has solid power and size...... Don't have a problem with where he is currently ranked by The Ring..... Has a chance to be #1 if he beats the winner of the S6 (Ward) but I don't see it happening....

Johnson was flat because he took only 5 months to prepare for that fight. At 42 years old he didn't take Bute too seriously and he everytime Bute landed flush, Johnson was losing his balance. He was afraid of Bute left hand all night. He didn't gave any chance for a bodypunch, that was his plan. He only landed jab, thats it.

Ironically enough Bute also injured his left hand in the 4th round lol There are pictures of it all swollen. Bute didn't mention it though until Johnson started trying to use his elbow as a excuse.

Johnson was boxing and not pressuring Bute along with keeping his right arm glued against his body to protect against Bute's left from round 1. Things didn't all of a sudden change with his approach and Bute's best weapon was also compromised.

Can't be so sure Ward will win the SS,I personally see Froch stopping Ward...

Bute wipes out everyone in SMW.

                    And I hate that.
