Why cant Bob just come out and say
"Sergio ***en Martinez is just too big and too good for Pac. That is just too much for Manny to chew and i want to look out for the health of my fighter. Pac is a WW and wont fight at anything more Plain and simple so Sergio quit asking for a fooken fight you arent going to get it"

Arum should have a same day weigh in for Chavez Jr., too! He'd probably come in at 195lbs.

He wants Pacquaio because he is smaller, but now he is also a beast so he is scared of the little felow also.
******! Stop all of the senseless hate. I'm sure neither Mayweather nor Pacquiao are scared of anyone. It kills me how you ******s sit behind your computers and talk about how men that fight for a living are ******* and scared!

What fight has Martinez re-hydrate to 175?

Why didn't Clottey or Margarito have same day weigh-in. When both guys had re-hydrated more than what Martinez has.

Does he not understand how ****** he sounds with his contradictions?

However, I don't mind same day weigh-in. I love the idea. But, let it be at 160. That would be fair to both parties.
why dont we have a martinez vs froch or bute or ward at same day weigh-in of 168? because it would be easier for martinez do 168 same day weigh-in than pac could even do, if ever, close to 160 same day weigh in

haters are really looking to get more ridiculous with pac fighting bigger guys...lets see martinez fight someone who would outweigh hime by 20-25 lb

Pac haters slam Pac for fighting a guy (JMM) who Pac will have maybe a 3-4lb weight advantage on fight night. Yet they also slam him for not wanting to get into the ring with a guy who will possibly have a 15-20lb weight advantage on fight night. LOL.

"Why Mayweather creating his own rules, he is not Commission", Yap, yap, yap.

But lets go and make a guy train to get to a weight he hasn't been at in almost a decade, and not allow him to rehydrate a bit, and get some of his fluids back, so we can fight a corpse.

At the same time, Martinez is desperate. He will probably take the deal as long as he received a career high payday. So it's all on him if he wants to a Sacrificial lamb.

If I were him, I would just ask for a clause, to fight with one arm tied behind his back, instead of burning down to 150. It would be less strenuous. Take your beating and cash out.

Pacquiao has used this to his advantage over the years as much as anyone.

For example, in the second fight with Marquez he weighed in at 129 lbs and was 145 lbs on fight night. He always weighed more than his opponents on fight night when he was in the lower divisions.

                  Arum wasnt complaining then

btw, arum is right, boxing should go back to the old school way of doing the official weigh-ins...of it being done on the same day, i'd say 2 hrs before the fight...if we could go back to the old school way, you'd see current boxers fighting one or two division above what they are currently fighting in...no more this nonesense of having to cut/make weight...this would make both fighters almost basically even when it comes to weight of the fight.
