  • * Why the hell are people bringing up all these little details about ducking a Sergio fight? 150 no 147 no 154. How is Pac ducking when the JMM fight has been agreed upon since June. If Sergio forces his own path by taking on the cream of the crop @ middleweight or jr middle and stops trying to piggy back off Floyd or Pac than he could eventually lure a big fight. But, crying and quoting to the media every day is only hurting his chances.

FACT: Pacquiao wanted to fight for Sergio's title, just not against Sergio

    " I will fight anyone at 150 " ~ MP

    " I can make 150, and will fight you in 2012 " ~ SM

    " I will fight you at 147 " ~ MP

Now, you can call that whatever you like, you fkn genius, but I got two words... DUCKING B1TCH !!

    * Why couldn't the Floyd fight been made in the first infamous negotiation 2 years ago and under standard drug testing that...(drumroll please) EVERY OTHER BOXER USES? Dumb ****s like you probably never heard of OST before Floyd played his hand but hold Pac to a higher drug testing standard. Did you honestly think Pac was juicing before the Floyd debacle? I bet no.

Yes, I did, I thought that it was HIGHLY SU****IOUS that after looking like he was "faded", "slipping", and "been in too many wars" during the Marquez fight (Emmanuel Steward)..... Pacquiao suddenly gained 13lbs of muscle in 9 months while ripping through 3 divisions simultaneously increasing his speed and power..... and (coincidentally) he will not agree to undertake random blood tests.

Anyway, WHO FKN CARES DUDE ?

FACT: blood tests are completely harmless
FACT: Pacquiao's 8 ridiculous excuses are absurd
FACT: there is NO genuine reason to avoid random blood tests

Just more pac-dribble, and more absurd excuses as to why a supposed P4P fighter will not step up to the plate

Let's try a change of pace Mr. Traditional greatness. Can you produce an expert "grocery list" on how Floyd is so great? Please explain how he cleaned out 135, 140 or 147. Explain how he beat "prime" versions of De La Hoya and Mosley. Explain how Judah and Baldo were great wins, let's hear it.

Nah, lets not do that pointless exercise.

1.) this is about Pacquiao, not Mayweather
2.) how would Mayweathers actions excuse or justify Pacquiao's?
3.) I dont give a *** about Mayweather, you can say what you like

Well, Mr " excuse-machine "..... so your job is to justify Pacquiao's cherry-picking behavior and his failure to step up to the plate and fight a live dog huh..... ?

    FAIL !!

Fair enough... I thought of 157 since Martinez depended his crown against Paul Williams at that catchweight.

I thought the 24hr rehydration rule was put in place to avoid fight cancellations?
The safety part was just an after thought excuse for preventing monitarily loss due to fight cancellations.

Lamotta would had benefited immensly if there was a SMW weight-class. Like Hagler he was too small to fight at LHW. So he had to dangerously shrink down to MW to have some success.

But, if there was a 168 division that danger would have been eliminated.

Really with as many divisions as we have today. There should be same day weigh-in...The state of Pensylvannia still has same day weigh-in rule. As many weight-classes as we have now the danger is very limited, and it would eliminate catch-weights which is a plus.

Of course you will get the few that would still try and shrink down. But, there so many weight-classes now more so than before that you don't have to do that.

Same day weigh-in is the way to go. I like that idea.
I agree with your point about same-day weigh-ins, I got no problem with that at all..... on the condition that we never have to endure some half-arsed wannabe fighting at catchweight ever again.

            Unacceptable.

And yep, I am well-aware of what I said, the "half-arsed wannabe" comment applies to EVERYONE who wanted to win a title but did not want to fight as the smaller man, regardless as to their prior achievements.

Umm... would have to check on that, but I am positive that fight was at 147.

I think all fights should be same day weigh in. That way you actually have two fighters fighting in the same division and not someone that ballooned up two weight classes still fighting against a guy who only ballooned two lbs.

I would love to see this fight. I'm a huge martinez fan, but if you want to do same day weigh in, why not at 154? The actual limit for the weight class? If he can't balloon up over night, whats the problem with actually fighting at 154?
why not raising the stakes a little bit, how about 155 for the MW belt
