He didn't wobble Johnson once, he DID make Johnson lose his balance though with a couple of right hooks throughout the fight but he wasn't wobbled at all. The crowd was cheering every single time Bute threw a jab or did anything no matter how small it was lmao. If Bute hurt Johnson he would've finished him, Bute was trying his hardest to KO Glen, especially at the end but rarely landed anything clean. Johnson was predictable ALL night long, throwing the exact same combinations, not pressuring like he did in all his previous fights, not even in round 1 did he try to pressure.

I did watch Miranda vs Ward, it was a SHUT OUT. Here's the fight:

Tell me which rounds Miranda won and WHY, go ahead the video is right there in front of your face. Of course I know you won't watch it because you know you're lying out of your ass lmao. That fight also took place just 3 months after Ward turned 25 (2 1/2 years ago) before his prime and he still dominated Miranda, Ward is just barely entering his prime right now. Meanwhile Bute is already 31 years old and he'll be 32 by his next fight.

I'm one of Miranda's biggest fans, I have two autographed pics. of him lmao, if there's anyone that'd defend Miranda it'd be me.

I don't have any more "race issues" than most other people. But I also have few illusions about people's basic motivations. And I don't always go against American and/or black fighters. I have been very vocal in saying Monte Barrett should get another title shot, for instance, based on his two excellent performances against David Tua. He's certainly more deserving than Mormeck. If I hated American and black fighters, I doubt that I could have that point of view.

I don't know what is with some of you guys, but Freedom really has gotten into your heads, as you accuse anyone who likes Euro fighters of being a Freedom alt.

And come on now: Bad News Buddy McGirt is a bit of a joke these days. You don't have to be a particular color to see that. And anyway, he's a Canadian. ;-)

Sorry but Ward's resume isn't really better than that, and Ward is holding, clinching, headbutting, hitting too low, dirty boxing sucks.

Bute is the real deal, he wason a french TV show last week and he said if he wanted later on, he could fight at Cruiserweight.

Bute is way too good for the Oakland scrubs. Fresh Coast sucks anywya.
Bute seems to be a well rounded boxer but how can you say he is better than those fighters when they have faced and beat the better competition.

The fact you have Magee and Zuniga in Bute's top wins says alot about how weak his resume is.

Ward holds wins over Kessler, Abraham, Green, Bika, Miranda. Ward's dominating win over Kessler alone is far better than anything Bute has done so far.

Froch's resume is better than Bute's also.

Froch holds wins over Abraham, Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal, Johnson and his only loss being a very close loss to Kessler.

Ward and Froch > Bute (until Bute steps it up competition wise.)

Johnson was a good start, hopefully he can progress from there.

Because he has all the talent, yet for someone who has defended a world title 9x, his comp is pretty shocking. Forget the likes of Librado Andrade, he had already had his face jabbed off by Kessler. Johnson is his best win by far.

What's even more annoying is fans typically put the fact he's not fighting the elite on the other persons plate. It's everyone elses fault he's not in the Super Six, it's all Kessler's fault the fight didn't come off. If he's so bothered by not being in the Super Six, then he looks although he could quite easily make the transition to 175 with the likes of Hopkins, Pascal, Dawson, Cloud etc. But he defends against Brinkley, Magee, Mendy and Miranda.

Ward's record will more than likely include wins over Froch and Kessler, so there is no comparison. I'm a Froch fan (far better comp than Bute) but a realist, Ward's style is terrible for Froch. I will be a sceptic until he fights Ward, because so far his reign as "champ" has been a cruise.

Again he looks a pretty complete fighter against the opposition his facing, no denying that. He could have tested that at 175 however, if the comp at 168 isn't avaliable. Also saying "Why would he leave Montreal, when he can make peanuts fighting the fighters he has" just gives even more reason to dislike him as a competitor rather than a fighter.

I probably wouldn't dislike him so much if he wasn't regarded by so many as "no.1 in the division."

Bute is a good fighter. People denying that are just disliking the guy for their own hidden reasons. Although I have to say the fight last night wasnt what I was hoping for from Glen. I think age had less to do with it then the fact that the two had sparred so many rounds before. Bute knew what to expect and executed his gameplan to a t.

He's overrated and is only #1 because he has more fights than Andre Ward.

His best win is against who? Andrade? Miranda? I mean really.

I agree Froch has the best resume at 168 right now. But Ward has nothing on Bute, except Kessler. In the 5 Ward wins you named, Bute already beat 2 of them. One other is a blown up middleweight who hat lost his previous 2 fights and wasn't competitive at 168 and another is Allan Green. Allan Green, really? He's on Ward's top 5 wins and you **** on Bute's resume?

Bute: Johnson, Andrade, Bika, Miranda, Berrio
Ward: Kessler, Abraham, Bika, Miranda, Green

How is Ward's so much better than Bute's, especially since Bute's still got a couple respectable wins over Zuniga or Magee while Ward has nothing more than those 5 wins I mentionned.

Bute is good it's just that because of the Super 6 he hasn't been able to prove it that much. Once he is able to start fighting those guys then the hate will go away a bit, but there will always be haters.
