What's with the Bute hate?

Who gives a **** about the population of a country? It's about fighting at home all your career and everybody being ok with it for americans, but not for a canadian, an european or an african. The U.S. of A is a little bigger than Canada, as a country. You could say 50 countries/states into one. So Roy, Oscar, Floyd have covered the entire North American continent.
Fighting in Canada all your career is the equivalent of an American fighting in California his entire career, or Texas.
It's especially annoying because americans have said for years that everybody had to fight in the US because it's where the money is at. But now the money is in Quebec for Bute, but he has to go fight in the US anyway while Ward can stay in his homecountry without being called out for it.Comment

There is a difference between facing and beating Edison Miranda while you're still a contender on the come-up, and beating Miranda as part of your 5th World Title defense.
Defending your so called IBF "World Title" against a washed up William Joppy? Hell Tito Trinidad knocked out a prime William Joppy almost a decade earlier and didn't get much credit for it.
Bute defends his belt against Fulgencio Zuniga, a guy Kelly Pavlik used as a stepping stone while he was still a Middleweight contender. Are you getting the picture.
Contrast and compare that to Ward, who won his first Title against the #1 Super-Middleweight at that time, still has less total fights than Bute and is about to face another Top 168 guy, and it's self explanatory who has the better resume.Comment

Don't be so emotional, calm down.
It's not who gives a **** about the Population, it's about the Continent. You saying that an American fighting at home is dishonest because the United States is half a continent. If the United States weren't united, every state would be a different country. California would be to New York like Russia is to Germany.Comment

Ward beats Bika as a champion and Bute as a contender.
Can apply both ways.
Joppy was a first defense. Not a great win, but nobody claimed it was...
Zuniga: The same guy who later went up to 175 and gave a good fight to Tavoris Cloud.
Then you go in the future to talk about the resume. He is about to fight another top fighter. But he hasn't yet, and we don't know how he is gonna fare in this fight (although I do expect him to win). No point talking about it now, we'll do it after the fight.Comment

I'm sorry to say, but your post makes so little sense that it's overwhelming. I really don't know where to start. Actually, I can't understand what you actually mean and if I understand correctly, it is sadly ******.
Don't be so emotional, calm down.

For exemple, you seem to think there is no more difference between 2 european countries and two USA States. Or that there is more difference between 2 USA States than between 2 canadian provinces.
From what I understand, you seem to think that the USA are geographically bigger than Canada, which is completely wrong.
What you don't seem to get is that the USA are one country, not 50. An american fighting in another State is like a canadian fighting in another province.
I hope it's because my English isn't as good as I thought it was. Please tell me I didn't understand something.Comment

You can't compare Ward fighting in America to Bute fighting in Canada as far as "hometown" advantage goes. In Canada EVERYONE over there is going for Bute, that includes him fighting in Romania, Germany, pretty much anywhere in Europe, whereas nobody would give a **** about Ward in Vegas, Texas, NJ etc. They view it as Bute representing their country, Americans view Ward as just another fighter. Americans won't go to see or support Ward just because he's American.
Euros have some strange obsession with athletes and them representing their country, proving they are "superior" lol. I know this because this even applies when discussing basketball with European Euroleague fans. They think the exact same way as many of these Euro boxing fans.Comment
