Angulo was out on his feet after the knockdown. I think he had the flu or something cuz he had no legs to begin with. Im happy everyones jumping on the Kirkland bandwagon cuz i think any other top fighter knocks him out easily, so itll be funny when everyone suddenly shuts up about him.
Nothing but the truth here. Both guys looked AWFUL tonight. Angulo looked like he didn't even bother running or working on conditioning, he was done in the 1st round. He punched himself out, had no legs, had no gas after the first half of the first round

Kirkland has 0 skill. Angulo looked liked he was throwing punches underwater like Lampley said, and he was still landing. Kirkland has no defense, no chin, just decent stamina.

Sloppy fight between 2 average fighters, only saving grace was the drama of the first. People are going overboard with the overhyping of Kirkland, probably the same people who wrote him off when he was KO'ed in one by a pillow fisted Ishida.

Im 100% with you on this and anyone that's ever seen Angulo fight before knows he looked terrible before the fight even started. He was slower than usual and the punch her dropped Kirkland didn't even seem all that hard. If you see Angulo in previous fight you can see that even when being boxed by Cintron and Julio he was coming forward with tons of energy from the beginning of the 1st round.

As soon as the bell for the firs rang he looked sick or even like he was drunk or something.....please go back and compare other of his fights. Something was not right and I stand by that.

Hey now, I get your sentiment, but don't diss Tennis.

Those guys have a short life span in that sport. It's no accident most retire by age 35. The Tennis court is unforgiving to old bodies, and you get injured easily.

Try playing 4 hours of Tennis like the Nadal's of the world do, going 5 sets. It's grueling.

I would've preferred if you had used GOLF to make your point instead.

why is it that every time angulo loses he's sick and wasn't there? c'mon man! Kirkland was simply the better fighter. That's it.

so you're criticism of kirkland is that he didn't stop him sooner? wow. Angulo a guy who's never been knocked down before in his career. Kirkland stops him in 6 and he's horrible because he didn't stop him in round 2. terrible post man
Im a real boxing fan. Anyone who thinks Angulo was 100% is a blind fool. His punches were slow and weak, nowhere near as powerful as they usually are when he starts off in other fights. He walked slow and sloppy before the fight started. The rest of the fight after round 1 he looked extremely fatigued, and no one gets that gassed after one explosive round. He looked as if he just got done running a marathon and then tried to fight. He had nothing. Like Lampley said, his punches looked like he was underwater. Kirkland was just off balance and throwing wild as usual, and has no defense whatsoever. He couldn't plant his feet and land not one sharp combo to take Angulo out of there right away. He was still getting hit by some of the most telegraphed punches I ever saw. What a fluke. Angulo would've been stopped by damn near anybody after the first round, yet alone by Cotto, JCC, Canelo, Cintron, hell even Margarito would've stopped him. If and when Kirkland faces any of these guys (excluding Margarito), he gets easily stopped. Don't give so much credit to a wild, sloppy, defenseless fighter who couldn't finish off a guy who was already knocked out. Ishida ko's him in a rematch haha

Angulo is not a smart fighter sorry to burst your bubble but he was soundly out boxed by Kermit Cintron. The sad part is Cintron could probably outbox him today. You guys forget Angulo walked away from 750K to fight Martinez because his team knew he'd get tore to shreds. Angulo gassed out but he did the best he could, don't make excuses for him.

Walks threw? his chin is still ****, as this fight proved. Angulo just blew his load, nothing more.
