he was sloppy, blooded, & beat up for a reason. kirklands body shots, determination, & crisps combos did a number on angulo.

angulos only chances was a early ko. after that kirkland was too determined to win..........
Um he was dead tired which took away any sting he had in punches. Kirkland swarmed him in the first round making him uneasy, then when he went down, Angulo carelessly tried to finish him. After he was punched out Kirkland ate him alive. I have no doubt Kirkland was tagging the **** out of him but it was a combination of his loss of stamina and Kirklands pressure that tore him apart. By round three Kirkland came forward and took what was left of Angulos stamina away with the combos and body shots. It was a domino effect.

He needs to work on his boxing - he looks way too slow on his feet.

Yeah yeah it was because perro was gassed out.

Before he knocked james down he was getting backed up. I never seen angulo fighting off his back foot. Kirkland was backing his azz up(no ****).

Let's give credit were it's due Kirkland showed a lot of heart to get up and hang in for the first couple of mins especially with the doubt over his chin and punch resistance. He showed heart and he showed he's strong mentally

GET THE **** OVER IT MORONS.......
                    I'm not an angulo fan.
Angulo has been an incredibly inactive fighter since his deportation.
Angulo visibly blew his load, throwing nothing but slow meaningless arm punches after his initial burst. Kirkland took his legs from him, not his arms. Deal with it, the man gassed. He sat in the corner huffing and puffing like he'd just ran a marathon. I'm sure Roy and the rest of that team know more than you, and even they knew what was coming. He blew his load worse than Mike Jones did.

He has marvelous stamina when it's measured, which he failed to do. he went all out with everything, nothing about his onslaught was measured and controlled. He blew his load, deal with it. At teh end of the day, Kirkland beat a guy who was there to be hit, slow, and exhausted. Even if you EX out the exhaustion from the equation, you still have a fight that isn't very impressive. You have a Fighter who was still a prospect, really, and never got to become something special because of being deported. Who lost to Kermit Cintron who, coincidentally, hasn't won a fight or looked good since then. In fact, he had already been given a gift draw against martinez and looked ****** against N'dou prior.

I've never been an angulo fan because I always thought he was overrated. He had his heart taken from him, and I'm happy to see Kirkland do it. Kirkland can make some exciting fights for us. But that doesn't stop me from calling it the way I see it, either.
