Cong**** to James but it took him about 5 rounds to finish angulo and angulo was dead after the second half of the first. I'm not hating just telling the truth Kirkland would loose against cotto, canelo, even clotey or any top fighter in that division. the only one he might beat is Margarito cause he's there to b hit. Don't get all crazy over Kirkland now he looked as bad as angulo.

People are going a little OTT with the Kirkland hype now. I do think you have to factor in that Angulo was destroying him and then completely gassed out, he was a dead man walking after that. A re-match would be spectacular, even better than tonight's.

Still, James did what he needed to and it's undoubtedly a great win.

Kirkland WALKS through Cotto and Marg. If Pac can then why couldn't he?

Angulo has a 10x better chin than those two and they've had viscous beat downs that have had to had some type of physiological effect.

Angulo visibly punched himself out...If he woulda just taken his time and been calculated, this would not have happened...He was a punching bag for 5 rounds and it still took Kirkland forever to take him out...Angulo's arm punches after the knockdown and punching himself out couldn't have hurt most of us on this message board...His arms were like slinkys out there...I honestly believe Angulo would have died out there tonight, that's how much heart he has...Take nothing away from James, but if Angulo had of been smarter in there, this woulda been a totally different fight...Having 2 rounds under his belt in 18 months i think they said didn't help matters any.
