He didnt make any excuses, he calld i thow he saw it. The man blew his load looking for the KO and never recovered. He tired himself out then got beaten up. All the credit in teh world to him for lasting as long as he did considering the circumstances.

i didn't see much from james though. i saw him Get up after being knocked down.. which doesn't magically mean he has a chin though. He was down 3 times against Ishida, not out. He was down against Conyers, not out. he has a shakey chin, this fight proves it's still shakey. However, his opponent was there for the taking after blowing his wad in the first, slow, and easy to hit. Why are we so impressed? He didn't show crazy defense, he didn't show crazy skill, he didn't show anything more than the ability to get up (which he has ALWAYS done) and throw punches.

angulo did NOT blow his load. angulo is a fighter with marvelous stamina.......I'm sick of you butt hurt angulo fans making excuses. angulo was fighting STRONG after the 1st round. kirkland took angulos legs from him with wicked body shots. @ one point angulo even covers up his body because they hurt so much. kirkland was simply the more determined fighter & he slowly tore through angulos face. he r@ped angulo & ko'd him fair & square..........

GET THE **** OVER IT MORONS.......

Don't get all crazy over Kirkland now he looked as bad as angulo.
I don't think cotto can handle kirkland's pressure.

the ginger would get beat up too.

          clottey would get outworked.

kirkland/marg would be another war. but marg lasts longer than perro.

Explain to me how kirkland dosent mow through Cotto like a wet paper bag? Cotto chin was shaky at 135 what would he do with Kirklands power at 154? Not to mention kirklands style is a nightmare for Cotto.
Marg is a smaller version of Angulo whi will never be the same after 2 beatdowns by fighters smaller than kirkland. Please explain to me how Cotto or Marg has a chancd against kirkland.

Im not ****riding like kirkland is p4p #1. I think guys like Sergio Martinez or Lara would beat him soundly. But guys like cotto and marg are tailor made for james.

Oh and about that knock down.

Not to make excuses but that was the first time Kirkland has been hit since he was stopped in the first round. He just got his bell rung and in the end i believe it helped him.

Kirkland was at the brink of the end, a loss. Would have lead to his career being practically over. He walked through dome viscious blows after getting up and through the first 3 rounds.

Dude angulo was clearly dead tired after the first round. IF you call that good stamina, I hate to see what you call bad. He was dead at the end of round one and nonexistant in round two. He started to get his wind back in three but he was sloppy, slow and how Kellerman put it (he throws like hes fighting in water). Kirkland won and was definitely the better man, but Angulos stamina looked horrible to me.

he didn't blow his load. when angulo stopped his punches in bunches kirkland followed him & threw punches back at him which hurt angulo. thats the thing, when ever angulo is done throwing combinations you follow him & throw your own shots.....it just so happened that james had enough power to hurt him when he followed angulo..............

he was sloppy, blooded, & beat up for a reason. kirklands body shots, determination, & crisps combos did a number on angulo.

angulos only chances was a early ko. after that kirkland was too determined to win..........
