However what was going on during Marquez and Morales was Mannys promoter Murad Muhammud and Manny were at odds Murad wanted to get Manny away from Freddy, and Freddy advised Manny to seek legal help because he believed Murad was ripping him off.

For three camps in a row this **** went on, Marquez Battery and Morales Murad was sending people up to the gym daily to not just make sure manny was on track no sir, but to make sure Freddy didnt talk business to him and that Freddy just remained as a trainer.

There were tons of distractions in the gym, as hundreds of Filipino fans would show up to watch him train which is cool and all but Manny spent just as much time taking pictures signing autograps as he did training. all while Murad had some of his thugs up there keeping a close eye, i mean it was so busy there you couldnt even find a place to put your gym bag down it was insane no parking and really no room to work.

you could see it in the gym he was clearly distracted especially when he took Murad to court, as it was proven that Murad was ripping him off infact Murads people accidently gave Mannys attorneys the evidence that he and another promoter were ripping him off.

Israel Vazquez was whipping his ass in sparring going into the Marquez and Morales fights you just knew **** wasnt right...
But to answer the over all question no he was not drained for either fight and distractions do happen they are no excuses they just do happen however its your job as a fighter to not allow it to be a factor.
true this^ i was there too, you're not justin fortune r u??? lol! how's fortune gym going?

but... he was weight drained. its true. pac even had trouble making 135 vs diaz, even straight after the fight he said to roach, he aint killing himself to make 135 no more.

If he was weight drained then he's definitely the strongest weight drained fighter I've ever seen.

Nope I am not Justin but I can tell you this Mannys weight has NEVER been an issue he was never drained going in to any fight..

He may have had trouble shaking off a pound to make the weight but he didnt have to kill himself to get there.

Not severely drained. But he was definitely not at his best because of the weight cut. And it was well documented before the fight too how hard it was for him to get down to 130. Just look at the weigh in photos, Pac looked like a skeleton.

His face was ****** in like crazy like he had a skeleton head for a face. But I don't know if he was drained or just completely ripped to shreds and thats why his face looked like that. Either way, Manny has clearly greatly improved since the two Marquez fights while Marquez looks the same great fighter he has always been.

I think Manny stops him because of the size difference and it might have something to do with Mannys skills getting better. As far as I know, Manny doesn't have serious hand problems like Floyd.

Some of the Mexicans might be shocked if Manny stops Marquez, because Marquez has always looked like the terminator in that ring. Determined to get up from every knock down. But I think Marquez is foolish to be fighting above 135.

he wasn't in the best shape...he was cutting too much weight. he ballooned to 145 at fight night and looked a little bit sluggish. he still maintain the same fight night weight range (145-148) even now that he's fighting as a welterweight so you can just imagine what he went through to cut down to 130 against jmm the 2nd time.

If it was Floyd, who knows how big a star he would have been?
He actually did dictate to Oscar.

Manny (acting on Roach's advice I would imagine) always uses his drawing power as a negotiating hammer to make sure that the opposing fighter is at some kind of weight disadvantage. Is at a weight that is just slightly (or in DLH's case, a little more than slightly lol) uncomfortable. At this level of competition any advantage is huge.

Idiot. Oscar was the one who suggested 147. Manny is not yet a superstar pre Oscar fight.
