You are attempting to insinuate that Hopkins was either: a) already injured, and looking for a way out of the fight. b) Hopkins was injured in the first round and used the throw as an excuse to get out of the fight.

Honestly, there is no other reason for you to bring up his shoulder being iced, than to try and justify Chad winning the fight.

It comes off as making excuses, and sour g****s.

I have alot of respect for you as a trainer and a former fighter, but that doesn't give you a pass on this crap.

I am not insinuating it, I am SAYING IT is POSSIBLE and icing his shoulder makes it so..I dont recall anyone icing someone's shoulders after any first round, especially a highly uneventful one...it comes off to you as sour g****s and thats fine, but for you to apparently be UPSET with me over it is kind of odd thats all...you dont know me, its just a message board, u have no financial or personal stake in the fighters, it just a MESSAGE BOARD..for you - a guy on a message board- to somehow say that I as the trainer of the fighter involved shouldnt bring up a su****ion based on knowledge I've acquired over thirty years in the game is odd, too...unless you think we should only deal from now on on this baord is 1000 pct. factual observations and points...dont speculate on anything, only post FACTS...thats your goal for me???.

Maybe Hopkins already had a separated AC joint from training, and used the fall on his butt, to purposely roll on his elbow, and claim the fall caused the AC joint separation. There he 1. keeps his title, which already worked. 2. Get an NC which is on it's way. 3. Doesn't fight Dawson again. 4. Makes $1MM for absolutely nothing.

My problem is that Hopkins didnt make any attempt to continue after the incident. He didnt get up attempt to throw a punch he just cried foul and didnt continue. I have a hard time believing it was that serious that he knew instantly he couldnt continue.

Honestly it looked like Hopkins being Hopkins and milking a foul then it backfired on him.

I'm not hiding it, man...I AM SAYING IT IS POSSIBLE, OF COURSE IT IS...and I can assure u , I am NOT holding any sour g****s...I have no problem with the tech. draw or a no contest...and OF COURSE I wanted peoples opinions, that's WHY I posted it, of course...no mystery there...but sour g****s? Another issue is that Hops didnt GET UP...he stayed down...and believe me, if u REALLY want to fight u not only get up but u dont give the ref ANY indication that there is trouble...him telling the ref hid arm is hurt is a way to say "do what u have to do"...a guy like Pazienxa, a guy like Gatti...they instinctivelty hid stuff like that...Tyrell Biggs broke his COLLAR BONE in the first round against Jeff Sims and no tonly didnt fall down or tell the ref but he fought the rest of the 9 rounds with one arm and won by jabbing...
