in regards to the thread, i believe roy would be stunned, he never had a GREAT chin, his reflexes and speed were able to make up for that. but when they diminished, well, you saw what happened

Cheers my man... any time you wanna suggest a new passenger just holler.

Had to credit you there. Didn't wanna buy an apartment up your ass, but good sarcasm must always be praised. Too much half-assed stuff around, that was a quality work sir.

roy got hit many times, but roy stunned ruiz a few times , ruiz was caught holding on too. Roy ate punches up before and during the ruiz fight. Ruiz even knocked out holyfield so he could punch and i know someone will say holyfield was washed up , yeah he was but had the biggest heart of anyone ive seen in the ring no matter what age. so the question you asked shouldnt even be asked because the fight took place and the punches landed flush, jones was and will always be number 1 pound for pound in the history of boxing.

Roy was not the same fighter after cutting all that weight after the Ruiz fight.
Couldn't agree more. I've been saying all along that Roy should have had Tarver come and fight him at heavyweight.

This is true and what I've thought all along. I will always judge Roy from Ruiz and before . With that in mind I have Roy some where inbetween 20 and 25 all time greats
