    Quick Roy/Ruiz question...

Given what we know about Roy's chin since he dropped back down in weight, what would have happened if Ruiz had connected solidly with Roy's chin?
    36
Roy would have been laid out
    25.00%
    9
Roy would have been stunned, but he would have taken it
    38.89%
    14
Roy could have taken it flush and not had it phase him
    22.22%
    8
    I'm not sure
    13.89%
    5

    The poll is expired.

Pop it in again, and watch round 1. At the end, Ruiz lands a chopping shot to Roy's temple that was easilly as hard as the shot Johnson KO'd him with.

Roy was not the same fighter after cutting all that weight after the Ruiz fight.

        Bingo, and it's obvious.

Roy stood toe-to-toe with Ruiz at times and mocked him and laughed at him. Roy was a different man after that fight. Before it though, he was a beast...

I would have to go with - "Roy would have been laid out"

If 175lb light-heavyweights are able to knock him unconcious with one shot... A 240lb heavyweight with a 41-5-1 (28 ko's) record would definatly be able to do it!

            lol

LOL...I guess you didn't watch the fight too closely. Refer to Bozo's post.

Man you never change. I mean hell, it's not even that hard. All you have to do is watch some video.

What 175 guys KO'd Roy before the Ruiz fight? Tell me how many. The answer is the key to why your post makes no sense whatsoever.

            Moving on.

It makes as much sense as your "I see a lot of similarities between the careers of Joe Calzaghe and Bernard Hopkins" post.

                which is just about none.

I don't know how you find it so hard to see the similarites between the two???.. (Actually I do but I won't say).

Hopkins has a poor resume and defended his belt 20 times.

Calzaghe has a poor resume and has defended his belt 18 times.

                    hmm

Damn,y uo never give up, do you? And you are one to talk about neutrality...hah, that's a laugh.

Ok, just to put you in your place before I go to class.

                    1) Hopkins unified, and fought all around the nation and in different areas.

                    2) Joe had the WBO belt for years, wow. Never unified, or did jack squat outside of his comfy confines in the UK.

                    3) Hopkins is considered an all-time great, Joe is not, and never will be.

And I don't even fuggin like Bernard Jackoffkins. Jesus man, and you say I'm partial?
