That is irrelevant. Of course his 2011 income would affect a payment plan, regardless of what's in the bank . So uhh...whose logic is dumb again?

This is just a op-ed from fat dan who we know gets paid to ride GBP's sausage.

At least Steve Kim's posts about the PPV number came from his "sources", Fat dan just pulled this out of his ass and it doesn't even make sense.

How would reveling the numbers now affect what he owes the IRS from years ago? Simply put, it doesn't.

The only reason HBO wouldn't want to release the numbers is because they are very likely lower than Showtime's Pac-Mosley and that would make them look weak in the eyes of their shareholders and top boxing promoters who are deciding which network to go to.

HBO and GBP could care less about floyds IRS problems.

How do you figure? They released the #?

If anyone believes this tripe, then you are a complete idiot, no getting around that.

The Mayweathers aren't even trying anymore, they're recycling excuses now:
Instead, Mayweather Sr. suggested it was his son’s fear of Uncle Sam that’s preventing the biggest fight in boxing from taking place this year. “Make a million dollars in one year and see what Uncle Sam gonna do to you. So that’s what I’m talking about. Make $100 million in one year and see what Uncle Sam gonna do,” he would tell FightHype’s own Percy Crawford. “It would be like he ain’t never fought Shane. I’m telling you the real deal of how it is. That is the only reason they didn’t make the fight.”

Last year, taxes were the reason Floyd couldn't fight Manny. This year it's the reason he can't release the PPV buy rate for the Ortiz fight.

I would say how gullible do you think people are, but judging by this board... their strategy is working

Who likes to have their wages garnished? Sometimes that is the only way but generally speaking you try to avoid that or let them take as little as possible because you do still have to pay anyways on that money you earned.

It sucks having to deal with them, and that is dealing with way smaller numbers I can only imagine the hassle they would give for millions, lucky for him he can still make bread or he would be hanging out with Wesley Snipes.

At least it's a legit reason why they haven't released the PPV numbers yet. All we know I guess is that the fight is over 1 million, but less than the 1.4 million that Mayweather did with Mosley. So...if Floyd did say 1.1-1.2 million PPV's with Ortiz, isn't that considered a success????????
I think it's because they don't want to pay a good amount of money for a great accounting firm. That's right, a firm not just one accountant.

I remember reading an article in Time magazine about Nicolas Cage and how he was getting so many checks from all the residuals he was getting from past films and his accountant wasn't telling him anything about it. Later when Cage was being audited, he was shocked that the IRS told him that he never paid his taxes because the guy he was paying to figure all this shit out was actually stealing money from him AND not doing his job.

It's probably the same with Floyd. You guys have to remember that he's not just getting one huge check. He gets checks as more and more of the PPV numbers come in. When the PPV numbers come in, they're just initial numbers. They are not final numbers.

                    lol talk about being irrelevant

don't you realize how ****** what you just posted? and what payment plan are you talking about? payment plan is only for those people who can't pay the amount in full. floyd is more than capable of paying his back taxes in full even without considering his earnings from his fight with ortiz.

they're just using floyd's taxes as an excuse to withhold the ppv numbers and your fanboy a$$ is hurting because people have noticed the bull****.

A certain poster previously submitted the PPV #'s. I didn't pay mind to them because haters want to diminish Mexicans' PPV buying power with lies.
