Floyd-Ortiz PPV numbers being witheld until Mayweather settles IRS problems

see, you're trying to act like smart but you have no clue what you're talking about. i was talking about how the IRS tax assessment is for previous years and not how or when floyd should pay it. his 2011 income has nothing to do with the tax assessment for previous year. in fact, his 2011 income tax is yet to be filed...it will be next year.
and if you're talking about the amount that floyd will pay the IRS, yes it could come from his 2011 earnings but that is not what i'm trying to say. it could also come from his savings from his previous years income so i don't know what you're trying to prove.
really, what does hbo releasing the ppv numbers have anything to do with floyd's back taxes? nothing...it's bull**** just like you.Comment

Yeah but it would certainly affect a payment plan - if he owes. Granted, I don't even know if this is believable.Comment

*****s Bragging about Floyd's Money!! And yet Floyd Cant even Pay the IRS!
And now Floyd find the excuse not to reveal his low PPV buys! You *****s are slow! Why it takes too long to find the excuse?
OK, think about the next excuse why Floyd will not fight Pac again! Get something else other than the the TEST & Steroids! OK!Comment

or weeks, I have heard the same question over and over: Why is it taking so long for the pay-per-view numbers for the Sept. 17 Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Victor Ortiz fight to be released? Speculation is running rampant that the fight must have tanked and that Mayweather, Golden Boy and HBO are hiding the numbers to avoid embarrassing the fighter. That is simply not true. All along, those directly involved in the fight have told me repeatedly that the fight did very well -- in excess of 1 million buys and most likely around 1.2 million or so, which puts it right up there among the top few non-heavyweight PPVs of all time. You'd think that would be something they would want to brag about
There was also this part in the same blog post for anyone interested.
So it did around 1.2, the same as Pacquiao Mosley, but less than Mayweahter Mosley. It could have honestly been the 60 dollar asking price.Comment
