whether they're released now, or later, floyd's still gonna get taxed on them.

there's a couple of ways to look at this...

    1) releasing PPV numbers has nothing to do with anything. releasing floyd's PAYCHECK from said fight might have something to do with something, but the numbers....not so much.

    2) it's perfectly plausible that floyd's attorney wants nobodoy to know nothin about nothin until he files for 2011.

or there's my favorite train of thought on this topic

    3) WHO THE *** CARES??????????? THEY WILL COME OUT EVENTUALLY.

Let me ask you something - how would Floyd pay back the IRS? Would he reverse time and go back to 2010? Since uhh, according to you, his 2011 income doesn't count?

So taxes is not only an excuse to duck Manny, now it's an excuse to hide poor PPV sales figures? These guys can't be serious

I actually believe this. I like Mayweather, one of my favorite fighters of all-time, but I can never wrap my head around why these athletes don't handle their tax s**t. They have millions of dollars and they neglect their taxes, it's crazy.

At least it's a legit reason why they haven't released the PPV numbers yet. All we know I guess is that the fight is over 1 million, but less than the 1.4 million that Mayweather did with Mosley. So...if Floyd did say 1.1-1.2 million PPV's with Ortiz, isn't that considered a success????????

He's saying his 2011 income doesn't count in his previous years back tax situation...

What he makes this year should not effect the back tax problem he's dealing with...

I say there are "losses" (accounting ones) that FLoyd will take. It's number game to lessen tax burden. But why yall still obsessed with this PPV?
