Good timing beats great speed most of the time. Shane is not known for his timing, but at 1:20-1:22, all he did was kept his distance to analyzed Manny's rhythm movement and set up the right hand down the pipe. Manny's superior speed can be neutralize, but you have fight him a certain way in order to execute that strategy by using range gap spacing, pivot movement, and timing.

        here's a random highlight video :

How do you think he gets so many knockdowns if not for his handspeed?

:33, no darting, no "nimbleness", no in out and darting, no lead jab....just in the pocket very fast straight left.
The above videos were TERRIBLE choices to make a case for Pacquiao having elite speed.

The fastest punchers have always been the ones who could throw jabs, hooks, in NUMBERS. They are so fast that they can unleash a combo before their opponents can do anything about it.

        and also

        These are FAST BOXERS!!!

Fast boxers tend to have a completely different style than slower than elite boxers. You will immediately see the differences between what they do and what Pacquiao does.

If Pacquiao had the speed, he would use it like they do. He doesn't.

**** ... Amir Khan is faster than Manny Pacquiao. I don't understand what YOU GUYS don't understand.

Watch the fights. Look at the Pacquiao videos above and then watch the vids I just posted. There is a clear difference in speed.

In fact, I'll give you another example as a bonus. He's an up and comer so that there is no bias:

          So .....

          Has anyone watched the videos?

Has anyone seen the big difference between elite hand speed and and explosiveness when closing the distance?

I hope you had a chance to learn something.

Honestly I think he can beat Sergio and Pac.
