  • the guy's whole image is a joke. people try and compare him to jordan, maradona, even ali? you got to be kidding me. yeah he's a good fighter, but he can't even hold ali's jockstrap. consider me an ex-fan of the pacman...

      • God like level? Please!! He is basically the same fighter he has always been, he just fights washed up fighters. Always had middleweight power? Since when? Since when ariza joined the team? He has enhanced power, increased work rate and maintained his speed while increasing his durability moving up in weight, not sure how he did that.. but hasn't made any significant changes from a technical standpoint. He has a little better balance and tightens his guard a little but he still has an amateur based style

        • In the spirit of brutal accuracy, NO. Not at all.

          • He clearly has improved to a certain degree, just not against Marquez-style opponents, or pretty much guys who move around the ring, control distance, counter.

.. I agree that Marquez is like Manny kryptonite. It will be a ****ing war bro. But know that Pacquiao is on some god level now. Just have that clear man.

But yeah like I agree, Marquez is going to give Pacquiao everything he got and hell. It will be an exciting fight and another classic.
AS I been saying the only things improved on Manny are his experienced, strength and stamina. Nothing else. There are talk of thise mysterious right hand...where was it tonight ? He still has that dead right that he swings like a pendulum that usually catches slow fighter. Was a big fan of his back then when he fought Barrera, but his fan base is starting to make me root against him, although some of Mayweather's fanbase his turning me away as well, especially the ones who defends his every actions. Arum is rapidly killing boxing and using Manny as tool to achieve its demise in the name of business promotion. I wish he'd just go away and allow fighters to instil more pride in their craft and wanting to fight the best to prove themselves as it was back in the golden days. Damn, writing this makes me wanna take up a placard and go "occupy" top rank...lol. Peace !!

His balance is still the same, he just hasn't fought someone as equally technically skilled as JMM that can make him pay. His footwork is good, but not great as his some fans are desperately trying to persuading everyone else. I think his foot-speed is great, but having footwork and foot-speed are two different things. Overall, Manny has added in few more tools to his repertoire, but most of his major flaws are still there to be exploits. Only certain Boxers with the right technical skillset and high boxing IQ can exploits those flaws.

a good right hand and closing off his offensive angles with smart footwork is crucial if you want to beat a southpaw like manny

converted southpaws like Oscar and Cotto have joke right hands, converted southpaws are food for true southpaws

Hatton was also left hook dominant

                  Clottey is a joke

marg doesn't have the skills to do those kind of lead rights

I'm confident Mosley would have beat him if he wasn't a shot old man.

Turns out he also has good power and chin along with speed, which makes him more dangerous than them in the fight.

JMM is smart enough to learn from their mistakes, and I believe he won't try to slug it out.

Only setbacks is he purposely waited so long until JMM is really on the decline, and it isn't really a suitable weight. People naturally buy into the hype too much that greater size automatically means tougher fight. skills and styles are more important unless the size difference is ridiculous.

                    • He's a great fighter who still struggles with stopping guys with a sharp lead right hand still.
