Listen, I fell harder than that today raking leaves. These guys are super athletes, and this super athlete gets injured from that small of a fall. By the way, the canvas they fall on is not very hard. It's not as if they're falling on cement. The canvas fighters fight on is soft for a reason.

As I just posted before I saw your mail, the canvas had been thickly padded for years to avoud injuries, especially head injuries. It would be hard to dislocate a shoulder on the canvas, how often does it happen. I know of only 2 instances, this one and a fake one by the same Hopkins years ago against Robert Allen where he tried to get a win by DQ, just like a grudge match, tonight. He didn't get it so he fought on and won, it was typical Hopkins fakery.

I bet he was disappointed and will try to win or declare an NC in the commissioner's office.

fact of the matter is that Hopkins jumped on top of Dawson and tried pushing him down, ie illegal activity. Dawson tried to get him off.

Dawson didn't shove Hopkins... Hopkins leaned on Dawson and as Dawson was trying to lift himself, Hopkins flew backwards like he got tackled or something.

By the rules, this probably can't be rewarded a tko but I agree with the call.

Good on Dawson not to give Hops a rematch and I hope bhop retires after this disgrace.

to be fair, ive seen the replays and its not as hard a fall as i initially thought. either B Hop is a great actor or hes dislocated his shoulder/strained ligaments etc etc etc

Haha, even if he did hurt his elbow, plenty of people shelled out good money for this fight. Hopkins, the self proclaimed tough guy from Philly, should've continued. It doesn't get anymore basic than that.

If you watched the replay you would realise that hopkins was willing to continue.
