I LOVE BOXING WITH ALL MY HEART I REALLY DO BUT THIS IS WHY BOXING IS GOING DOWN ALITTLE EVERY YEAR IF ITS NOT THE JUDGES GIVING POPULARITY DECSIONS ITS THE BOXERS THAT TALKED SO MUCH SHYT AND COME TO THE RING AND QUIT SOON AS THEY GET ALITTLE HURT WHAT HAPPEN TO THE REAL BOXERS THEIR R ONLY A FEW LEFT, AN THIS FIGHT SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN A PPV ANYWAY BOXING GOTTA STOP MAKING EVERY SO CALL GOOD MATCH PPV THE FANS LOST BIG TIME TONIGHT AND IT MIGHT SHOW THE NEXT TIME THEY ARRANGE A PPV FIGHT FANS HAVE BEEN ALITTLE CHEATED TWICE IN A ROW FIRST BY MAYWEATHER VS ORTIZ THEN NOW BY HOPKINS VS DAWSON ALTHOUGH I STILL CANT BLAME FLOYD FOR HIS ACTIONS IT STILL WAS GOING TO BE A GREAT FIGHT IF HE WOULD HAVE JUST LET THAT ROOKIE FINISH HUGGING AND KISSING LIKE A LITTLE *** LOL BUT KNOW DOUBT IN MY MIND FLOYD WAS GOING TO STOP HIM INSIDE OF 10 NOW BHOP AND DAWSON I DIDNT BUY BUT JUST BY READING THERE WASNT A CLEAR FIGHTER THAT WAS WINNING THE RDS.

I stopped reading here. Boxing isn't going anywhere. People that say boxing is dieing etc... are full of ****. It was a disappointing finish but life goes on. Great card of British boxing tonight with some cracking fights and some good fights on Hopkins undercard. A lot of good fights coming up.

Haha, whether or not I've been inside the ring doesn't mean jack. I've played sports in high school and college and fallen hundred of times. And I don't need to have been inside a ring to know when I see a quitter. I saw the same thing when Hopkins fought Allen over 10 years ago and I thought Hopkins quit then too.

Hopkins is wack.. Fans were robbed.. After Hopkins redeemed himself against Pascual, this is what he gives us fans.. complete BS.. The refs call was complete BS.. NOT GOOD FOR BOXING AT ALL..

I can certainly feel that fight being called a no contest, that looked like an accident to me not a foul. Can't call it a TKO since no boxing move resulted in the injury.

I guess we will see if the injury is real or not, I hope to see something on that in the future, if man says he is hurt he is hurt but B-Hop will try some grimy stuff so I need to see more about it after the fact.

Boxing fan outrage makes me laugh, I honestly bought that fight expecting nothing, 12 rounds of no meaningful action, that was a crazy ending not a great ending for the sport but certainly crazy which only adds to boxing crazy nature for me, which is part of an endearing quality to me, you can predict and break fights down to the smallest detail and stuff will happen that you never expect. I would have rather watched more of the fight and have it end in better fashion but I can't say I wasn't entertained or surprised by the ending.

Shit happens, always keep that in mind about boxing

the commisiion will look this over and rule it a no contest. there is no proof hopkins faked an injury but there is proof dawson commited a deliberate foul. title should be vacant.

ref 's bad : he should've warned b-hop that he would be DQ'd if he didn't continue the fight and keep on faking injury . B-hop felt he was facing younger , better , stronger opponent and bailed himself out of the fight .

I hate Hopkins but shouldn't it have been a no contest there was no illegal punch or shot but at the same time the was no legal punch so technically it should have been a no contest... Any way it couldn't have happened to a better racist cong**** to Chad... Now Hopkins better need surgery after quitting like that because I've heard him critic fighters for quitting or not giving it all and he preaches all that about champions fighting threw adversity

Irrelevant. It is not a sponge - if you hit your elbow on it it your elbow stops relatively quickly and hence your shoulder can become dislocated. This is especially true since hopkins had no chance to prepare or tense up.
