Neither can the fact that Hatton won a title at 147 by beating Collazo and it was Hatton who challenged Mayweather. Hatton used to balloon up to 180 between fights so lets not pretend that Hatton was a small fighter for Mayweather. Fighting Ortiz(coming off a big win)after a near two year lay off was not a cherry pick unless you're biased with an agenda. Or unless you can come up with a better welterweight for him to have fought not named Pacquiao.

I didn't say it was his best weight. But he did fight at 147 prior to the Mayweather fight. So it's not like it was his first fight at 147.

Completely agree hatton's best weight was 140, and I think we can also agree that Mayweather's best weight was probably 130-135, so neither of them were fighting at their best weight.

Why would you assume that? Funny you said that though, I made some money betting on Hatton in that fight and I made a lot of money betting on Mayweather. Anyone who was following boxing back then remembers how horribly overrated Hatton was.
