If hbo had "good business sense" why did Greenburg step down after years of subscribers being fed up with garbage fights?

Why has the hbo boxing brand been tarnished?

Where is the good business sense in causing your subscribers to leave?

Andy Lee is not that good a fighter, although he'll make good fodder for some non-white MW like Peter Quillen in the future!

Dmitry Pirog is more talented and much more exciting, but they wouldn't have him back on after he KOed the Golden Boy prospect Danny Jacobs.

There are other more talented and exciting middleweights like Gennady Golovkin and now Grzegorz Proksa, but instead they'll have the mediocre Craig McEwen on to make Peter Quillen look good.

Seems to me that HBO is still the biggest name in televised boxing. They must be doing something right.

Bank of America is the biggest bank in America. They're sinking too. Resting on your laurels or having deep pockets from Time Warner to patch up a decade of ruining the network doesn't mean they're doing something right.

If they were, Greenburg would've gotten a promotion. Not the hook.

I remember some white kid debuted on the judah-mabuza undercard, was a ww and sounded like he had alot of hype behind him, it wasnt hbo but iit seemed like he had a following, anyone think of any white fighters coming coming up, preferably that speak english and will appeal to the wider audiance?

The question was posed that HBO needs a white fighter. Andy Lee is a white fighter regardless of how good or bad he is. He also has a large Irish fanbase. How can one argue with that?

You sound like you have a particular fighter in mind in the smaller weight divisions.

i havnt even seen a ehite fighter come through the olympic system, normaly they will be hyped up from then like floyd etc, but io cant even think of a white boxer coming through the system , surely this "discrimination" you speak of cant be happening there aswell?
