HBO Needs a White fighter

The racial demographics of the fighters on HBo is very non white, it seems there is every race on there apart from white, Even Japanese fighters are making more appearences then white fighters, dont get me wrong, i know alot of people dont give a **** about race, but alot of people do, they need another Kelly Pavlik, or preferably someone in the lighter divisions between 130-147, im talking someone like p4p material, not just a contender, jason litzau was the last guy i remember but his chin let him down again and he wasnt gonna get far lets be honest. I remember some white kid debuted on the Judah-Mabuza undercard, was a ww and sounded like he had alot of hype behind him, it wasnt HBO but iit seemed like he had a following, Anyone think of any white fighters coming coming up, Preferably that speak English and will appeal to the wider audiance?

Katsidis was just there to make other lightweights like Casamayor and JMM look good, same as Jason Litzau was there to make Caballero and Broner look good (although the strategy backfired in the Litzau-Caballero fight).

HBO has zero interest in white fighters outside of using them as opponents. There was an article posted on Boxingscene last year about how they were going to focus on bringing African American fans back into boxing in a big way.

It is what it is. This is why Showtime is a MILLION times better; they don't give a **** what nationality the fighters are and they don't have an obvious "HBO favored" winner, which is why their fights are exciting a lot more often.

I don't what they are doing but if I were them I would have gave Pirog a 3 fight contract and then hyped him up. But that still wouldn't solve the "American" problem.
