zaveck also had 41% accuracy against berto, but it didn't seem to help him much.
and i think the only one impressed by barker's shots was sergio's nose.

Also, I don't really set high standards like that, if Froch decides to take on a light opponent after Ward...I'd be completely fine with that, he's had a tough run as it is.
Consistency aside, though. People are acting like this fight with Barker is better than Pacquaio's last few fights, it's not. It's at the bare minimum just as bad and probably worse.

It's being dismissed as fine, and that is simply unfair.

I just can't see how you can critisize Pacquaio for his fights and be ok with Martinez for this one. He doesn't get a bly because his run has been good.

It's a joke fight, and when you are at the top of the sport, top of the P4P list, you shouldn't be taking those fights.

Especially when you have only just got there.

        Heh...

Didn't respect his decision to face Barker either, considering his age, Martinez's main objective is to get a big pay day. It's understandble but bad for the fans cause it may lead him to take on decent opposition until he can land a big fight.

I sort of see what you are saying(dont agree with Barker being a 'joke' fight, but there you go), but Manny and Floyd arent fighting him and he doesnt want to move up so what does he do, who should he fight? If you hold a title you defend it, sometimes against the best in your division if they are available and sometimes against decent fighters who have been upped(Barker). Thats the way its always been and I really dont have a problem with it. That will change if he fights another wildcard in his next fight though.

This is the reason people accept the Martinez fight
            Everybody gets one.

I hope this opens the doors for Barker getting big fights. He should fight someone like Vera next.

uh, so why didn't he come to this realization DURING the fight instead of a week AFTER? -- his corner kept telling him between rounds to do just that, get busier, throw more punches etc.

And Sergio actually KO'd Barker. Not a KO by cheapshot!
