I don't know what fight most of you were watching but Barker threw his share of punches & was amazingly accurate. Stop listening to the hbo analyst & actually reason of your own accord. He was far more active than AA & Clottey.

I thought he did very well, but there is no substitute for experience at the top level. He has had his problems with injuries and time out of the ring, and he has only been competing at domestic and european level.
You cant blame the guy for taking the shot when it came up, and I think the criticism he has gotten on here is very unfair. He did his best, managed to bust Sergio's nose and get his respect, he certainly fought better/smarter than Dzinziruk and virtually noone gave him a chance of getting past the first 6.
I expected a good performance from him and thats what we got. The experience will be good for him going forward and I look forward to seeing him back in the ring again soon.

Constant double standard.
If you are critisizing Manny Pacquaio for his recent list of opponents then you have absolutely no choice but to critisize Sergio Martinez for fighting Darren Barker.
The fact he 'tried to fight' or 'made a good account of himself' or 'was competitive' makes absolutely no difference to the fact that Darren Barker has SOLELY fought bums his entire career, was not ranked, has never been ranked and was a blatent cherry pick.
You can't have one and not the other. Regardless to the fact you're a fan of them or not.
