The Clottey impression he was doing is the reason he's saw the championship rounds, if he let his hands go, he would've have been out there within 6 rounds.

this is not true.....Barker was smart by being defensive, he just isnt as fast at Martinez. Its not like Martinez KNocked him out with a clean punch to the chin or jaw. It was a shot to near the temple/ear/side of the head....Barker had a busted ear drum.

How is it different? A cherry pick is a cherry pick regardless of how many tough fights u had prior to that. So before manny's cherry picking accusation, manny haven't been in any tough fights?

Dude Barker was fighting on the world class level with no world class experience & won most of the 1st rounds of the fight. He didn't do too bad? It's not hard to be accurate at world class level? That might be the dumbest **** I've ever seen form you bro.

Barker was rocked 3 times prior to the knock out, 3. Once earlier, another by a hook at the end of one of the rounds, another by a up jab and then the KO. All of these were while Barker was attempting to commit.

He fought a safe fight, a discipline one, but safe. He seemed to get touch too much for his liking when he let his hands go.. but that's the risk you take when you commit against a counter puncher who is trying to bait you by leaning forward with his hands down.

I never gave Martinez a pass or said it wasn't a cherry pick because it was, all I'm saying is the circumstances are different because of consistency, hence Manny has taken more slack in my opinion.

i never said u gave martinez a pass, im asking u because u keep brining up the fact that martinez has been in tough fights prior to barker. so im asking u is that suppose to make a different and manny havent been in any tough fights? ur other post above this u just said u dont hold high standards like that and if froch decides to take a light opponent u'll be fine with that because he's been in tough fights but yet manny havent?

That's the problem, last time Pacquiao took on a tough opponent was Miguel Cotto, where the board slightly favored Pacquiao to win (I ran a poll).

Clottey was credible though not tough. I get the feeling your still not understanding me...
