6 divisions compared to 3? It's obvious the ones who dislike Oscar don't even put them on there or think otherwise. Or unless you're PR.

The best win on Oscar's resume is.... Vargas?
Read above. 6 divisions. How many of those guys did he fight that Tito destroyed? Like 3 right?

I disagree, I might have to say Quartey, Hernandez, Whitaker were better wins.

    What is Tito's? Vargas right?

But anyways, I rest my case. I won't go any longer on this thread. You can make a new thread about it and I can comment on there.

Yes Tito's best win was Vargas which is exactly my point dumbass... They both share the same best win only Tito got there first (like always)

Btw I have NEVER seen a list with Tito ranked above Oscar. You're just in here to cry about the fake "injustices" of your favorite fighters. Just like you keep bringing up how people love Mosley but hate Margarito when you know damn good and well Margarito has more fans.

Did you really say Whitaker? Lol. That win was barely a win and that was an aged coked out Whitaker (go ahead and cry..."oh when Oscar fought him he was aged?"... Um yeah same with Tito, only Tito beat him alot more convincingly)

It's worth noting 2 of Oscar's divisions are farcical. He barely fought at 30, and won a PAPER belt. Then he was gifted a belt at 160, hardly an accomplishment. His tenure there is about as valid as weighing Trinidad for his whopping one fight at 168. I gave a lengthy rationale for why I see Oscar as I do and the same here. Folks can take it or leave it (and I'm glad to see many do, and it fosters good debate). But 6 vs. 3 is a hollow point.

Against common foes, Trinidad was almost always better. He beat younger, better versions of Carr and Campas earlier; beat Camacho years earlier and as decisively; beat a still tough Whitaker, only a year and a half older than he was for Oscar, decisively (Oscar did not); stopped Mayorga and Vargas first (and won more rounds v. Vargas); was tougher physically for Hopkins...I also thought Tito won the De La Hoya fight by a point, even as Oscar fought better for stretches against a weight dying Trinidad.

Add it all up and to me Tito has the edge. The two were both at their absolute prime at 147. Tito was the better Welterweight and overall superior fighter.

Oscar didn't do more then Tito. Oscar did what the welters are doing now. fighting the names not the contenders. I recall Quartey left boxing after losing to Vargas. Whitaker was busy chasing Chavez in 94 - 95 for his rematch. Castillejo was not better then Vargas!
While many champions fight the big names of weight classes. Tito was fighting real contenders. Guys who were hungry. Fighters who wanted to take what he had. Looking back Hopkins is an all time great. So no shame in losing to the best middle of all time when your 2 weights above your normal weight. Tito was not the type not to fight. If all those fights were not made then it was the other party. I remember Quartey, Whitaker all standing in line for the De La Hoya gravy train. Not wanting to risk losing because they knew if they had a loss then Arum would pick someone else to DLH to fight. Tito to me was the best welter I've seen. He was vanilla but what he did he did so well!

No shame on Tito losing to a faded Roy Jones, than Dela Hoya being battered by a smaller Manny Pacquiao, who earlier in the year was fighting at 130lbs.
