Co-sign, Tito was a rare edge of your seat master piece thriller of a fighter unfortunately that breed of boxer is rare (with the exception of Pac).

Tito Cheato would whup any of the overhyped welters from before the 1970's with his loaded fists. Period. Sugar Ray "Hype Job" Robinson never saw the kind of power Tito Cheato would throw at him. Never. Not even close. FOH!!!!!!!!

Tito loaded his fists with too much tape. Tape is much more denser than gauze and alot more can be applied. This equaled much more power. That's why Tito's KO% dropped so dramatically after he was caught. It's shameful to obsess and go on the way clowns do about Margarito on one thread and then praise Tito in another. Tito Cheato!!! Tito Cheato!!! Tito Cheato!!!

Trinidad was a great fighter, his punching technique is great (few in boxing today have the punching technique of Trinidad). I think the author errored in the Mosley anaylization. Mosley was asked if he wanted a fight with Trinidad, both Mosley and his dad (manager) said NO! I recall Trinidad at one time even trying to make that fight, prime Whitiker different story. The Whitiker fight always seemed to fall through and i don't think he wanted the fight. I don't recall much about Quartey fight but thats a fighter that would have given Trinidad problems. Also Terry Norris fight didn't get made because of promotional issues plus Norris was already passed his best.

This was a good article not the most accurate, but i like how he touched on every topic of a fighters career (though more research imo, was needed).

Just read the post about Mosley vs. Trindad, Trinidad by KO! Mosley tires in the later rounds, Trinidad gets better, and hits harder. Mosley would fight Trinidads fight.
And not every skilled boxer gave Trinidad problems, Oba Carr was a very skilled contender and Trinidad ko'd him, check out some early Oba Carr fights that guy could have been champion but he was in a tough era of great champions.

People always seem to only remember the later part of both their careers. The prime version of those guys could go at least 10 rounds with the greatest welterweights of all time. If Tito was prime 147 right now, he'd be undisputed, lineal & ring all day.
Amen brotha!!! Amen and green K too
