I like Sergio especially the way he fought.. but hey, he lacks the heart of a true champion because he is terrified fighting real oppositions just one step northward, but had all the couraged chiding Pac to fight him above pac weight limit. Sergio was 158lbs on the scale and weighed 165lbs on fight night??? Pac was just 145lbs on scale and still 145lbs on fight night, yet he tried fighting in JMW (147.1 - 154lbs) while in 145lbs and won!!! He will not come back again in JMW because he realized, that was no longer his weight, but at least he tried, and for this, pac have a heart of a true champion, that Sergio did not understand! Sergio is now becoming just an incidental champion to me because he was molded as that by lack of real opposition on his present weight class. And embarassingly, he window-shopped for smaller oppositions!

At least Hopkins wasn't a puppet being told "We will not let you fight above 160" like Martinez team is doing. They own his balls.

Thank u for saying it. Mayweather is all wrong for him no matter the weight. They're reach/height isn't that far apart and serg fights from a crouch so they're wouldn't be much of an advantage other than weight. Mayweather is faster and his reflexes on defense are in another league from serg. PAC is another story style wise Martinez would be too big a puncher as Manny isn't too hard to find. Unlike alot of pacs recent opponents Martinez can keep up footspeed wise and is an accurate puncher with speed and pop I don't see PAC being able to avoid a KO alot like oscar vs bhop PAC would do well until he gets hit cleanly. They're both good fights no matter the weight isn't that what we want as boxing fans? We need to get off the whole ***** weight crap.

He has you dumb SOB, Martinez was a 147 and moved up in weight. Isn't that fighting bigger guys? Hopkins was a 160 pounder and naturally moved up and fought bigger guys. This has to be a joke. No one could be this ******.

I like Manny, and the way he fights, but his last 3 fights have been a dissapointment. Marquez is over the hill just like Mosley, and Margarito was a shot fighter. I understand you're Filipino and all, but the truth is that Manny has not fought the best competition out there.

Kelly Pavlik and Barker were middlewieghts, that is not bigger. Bigger is fighting guys who are above the middewieght at weigh-in. Next time I charge you for the information.

Save your money for a book on logic thinking. They are middleweights, but Sergio moved up 147 154 to 160. Just like Hopkins moved up from middleweight to light heavy weight.

Both the Pavlik and Wright fights were at 170 which is close enough. Either could have made 168 but there was no title. Glad Hopkins doens't just call out smaller fighters, he fights bigger ones afterward, unlike Martinez whose mommy won't let him fight above his current class.
