jrosales13 - I will try to make it easy for a simpleton as yourself. What fighter called out smaller guys AT A TIME when he refused to fight bigger ones? And what fighter did not? Here are the names: Hopkins / Martinez. Place the names with the questions. Not even an I.Q test, which you would be miserable at.
All Martinez has to do to get a lot of people back on his side is to fight a top name at 168-175 and then his calling out Pac and Mayweather won't look so bad. Simple formula. I was a fan, like many others till he said he would only fight a smaller guy, not a bigger one.
175 is absurd. And he is fighting bigger guys at 160. At 36, Martinez is nearing the end of his career and is looking for one or two more decent paydays. The two biggest money fights out there for him are Pac and Mayweather. Given the closer than expected fight the other night, I don't expect him to take much risk while giving those two a bit more time.

What fighter has called out a smaller fighter at a weight-class where the smaller fighter never fought in?

I'll give you absurd: I guy coming into the ring at 165 against a guy in Pac who comes into the ring at 144. Not THAT is absurd. Martinez can fight Bute who is less than HALF the difference of what Martinez is to Pac. THAT is not absurd.....unless you ask Martinez and his team.
Come back when you are not a Parrot and answer the damn question instead of answering a question with a question. I'll be waiting for your answer.
Well ain't that what you did? Answer a question? I asked numerous questions that you have yet to answer...Because, you can't. Your logic and reasoning is truly flawed. You're comparing apples and oranges. You my friend are an idiot when it comes to discussing boxing.
