the guy hasn't even learned a proper boxing stance. any decent fighter KOs Steroidgio easily.
@ all:
Pirog has fought tougher opposition than Martinez until Martinez fought Cintron. Martinez' last fights where spectacular and he righteously owns the crown of 160. But just to assume that he will beat Pirog easily because of that is not justified. It's also not only the fights that Pirog has fought, it's his style and skill level that is impressive. This will show in case they ever meet. Stylewise I see Pirog winning here. One has to forget about the hype and analyze the styles.Last edited by sweet-s; 10-01-2011, 11:19 AM.

Listen, I'll bet anyone on here 2MIL points that Sergio Martinez murks Dimitry Pirog or any other middle weight in the division. I don't understand how people can hate on Sergio? Dude has serious skills. It's ridiculous how many less real boxing fans there are who can actually analyze a fighter without being personal about it. Damn! Bunch of kids on here forreal. The funny thing is, as soon as Sergio puts this kid in the dirt. The same people who said that Sergio Martinez was ducking and scared of Dimitry Pirog will say that Martinez cherry picked him. It never stops. Since when have grown ass men become some damn B!tchy as fans in the sport of boxing?
If a fighter wins against another, automatically he cherry picked him? I can admit that I would have liked to see Pirog fighting Martinez this weekend instead of Barker but that doesn't mean Barker didn't earn his opportunity being undefeated. I think all fighters should have a chance to fight the best. The problem with boxing nowadays is that the promoters don't want their fighters to lose to lower the value of their fighters. This used to be a sport/business and now it is mostly business/business. The way the fighters/boxers of old became legends were mainly that they fought the best win or lose.
Not fight lesser comp all the time and then claim to be the best. Fighters made it their business to fight the best. My advice to Sergio Martinez is to continue to fight the best and build his reputation up as a great fighter because if he tries to take the route of Pac/Floyd and other big names he is going to miss out of what he could be.
