I won't get onboard the Pirog train until he fights a proven and experienced top middleweight. Until then, I'm adamant against Martinez wasting his time with another prospect.

Pirog knows he won't get Martinez in the immediate future. Why doesn't he call out Rubio in the meantime? He'll have my approval as a sergiosexual if does this.
Pirog has a dominant shutout win over Kofi Jantuah, who KO'd Marco Antonio Rubio in the 1st round, KO'd Daniel Santos in the 5th round, went the distance with Arthur Abraham and gave him a tough fight.

if Pirog wants to fight Steroidgio Martinez, he has to earn it like BARKER THE GOAT FARMER did.

The Racket Squad: Pirog Ready and Steady

Someone suggested that Pirog needs to earn his shot at Sergio.
What Planet did Barker earn his shot on?

Boxing is no longer about earning anything other then the biggest payday for the least risk.
This is not the same sport that gave us Robinson or the likes of a Jerry Quarry.
Man. Those cats earned their daily bread the hard way.

Too bad it was Sergio's third fight in his entire life at the time, no amateur career and the other guy was 3-6 at the time. Keep on hating though, you more than make up for the lack of hate from the rest, lol.
