I meant it more in a sense that Rubio was a young dude barely starting his career 8 years ago.

Pirog destroys Martinez by brutal k.o.

      Take that to the bank.

that's true. credit to rubio for coming back from such a brutal knockout loss and being a contender. some people think getting knocked out means you are automatically finished which is just silly.

The El Dinero De Vaca JCC JR wouldn't know about that.

I don't know why these mofos here hate on Martinez he is phenomenal fighter, nice guy outside the ring. Fighters like him good for boxing. There is no way Pirog beats Martinez. Pirog is not proven he ain't no better than Dzinziruk.

Pirog knows he won't get Martinez in the immediate future. Why doesn't he call out Rubio in the meantime? He'll have my approval as a sergiosexual if does this.
same way i feel about pirog. he's looked tremendous against lesser opposition, i'd love to see him fight someone like macklin, lee, or quillin (since they both want martinez, winners gets the opportunity). i hope he's able to land big fights if it isn't martinez next year though, preferably some here in the states. if he continues on how he's doing, it'll be a huge fight for sure...

the martinez camp said after the dzinziruk win that they're going to take an easy fight. this is it.
