Why does Sergio Martinez show a lot of respect to Mayweather but not to Pacquiao?

It's because roach/bob arum have already said NO to the fight and dissed martinez on numerous occasions.

Floyd on the otherhand hasn't really said anything about Martinez, other than most recently "he could be a possibility" or something along those lines.

Thats a valid point. Floyd fights guys coming off wins and KO performances.

Not taking anything away from Manny but general consensus is that floyd is the more skilled of the two.

Not a ***** but a big fan of PBF and I agree that it is very possible that Donaire will one day be p4p#1

Your only as good as your last fight, to some extent there is some truth to that because Pacquiao and his people wanted nothing to do with Mosley after his performance against Margarito, we can all sit here and say Mosley looked old, tired early (True) but Floyd wasn't looking to face that Shane. Same with Ortiz.

On the other hand Pacquiao knew exactly what to expect against Mosley, Margarito (Roach saying I saw your last two fights) and Marquez. Mayweather has shown the intention of looking for a challenge.

because sergio knows who the real P4P king is... and it ain't pacquiao.

There is a very good chance that it will happen. He's on his way.

Right, with Mosley coming off over a year. Roughly 16 months of inactivity, and with Ortiz having had both a draw and a brutal KO loss in the last 2 years.

This thread is clearly a meeting place for people to pretend to stumble on their own agendas aka ****ting on Pacquiao and accidentally praising Mayweather. Then everyone agreeing and patting one another on the back. You guys are very transparent.

but it is one well traveled road in boxing to irk or minimize the one you wish to fight...sort of a challenge...

i don't think sergio will stop on calling out manny...

sergio knows pac may likely give him a shot more than floyd...

pac takes more risk than floyd...

sergio is a very big risk but a much worthy fight for pac..

i wish to see pac fight sergio, and win or lose, retire...
