Why does Sergio Martinez show a lot of respect to Mayweather but not to Pacquiao?

This is an honest question. Sergio has talked numerous times about Floyd and Manny but the tone is different when he addresses Floyd compared with Manny.

He is always respectful towards Floyd, compliments him and says that it would be an honor fighting him.

On the otherhand, when he talks about Manny, he downplays his latest victories and blatantly says that Manny is afraid of him.

Why do you guys think he does this?

Because Sergio actually knows about boxing and sees that Floyd always fights guys coming off great performances, something Sergio is currently doing, while manny does not.

Sergio knows it is more in Floyd's nature to fight him than it is in manny.

Honestly? Because real recognizes real and active fighters know that manny is smoke and mirrors. If you notice only the media thinks floyd is ducking. I dont hear any active fighters saying that. Sergio can see it too.

Cause Floyds style would give him hell...Mannys style would be a hell of a a lot easier for Martinez..Arum knows it,Roach knows it,anyone who knows any damn thing about boxing knows it

Because there's a little bit of hater in the Sexy one. Also because he's confident he'd spark Pacquiao whereas he perceives a fight with Mayweather would be a bit more difficult.

Floyd fought Mosley, Ortiz when it mattered, when both were rated, coming off impressive performances. He's been doing it the right way, and I'm certain he's gonna continue to. Same can't be said for Manny, to top it off the catch weights and his refusal to test
