Why does Sergio Martinez show a lot of respect to Mayweather but not to Pacquiao?

Sergio knows what's up, he knows that fighting PBF can get him a bigger check than fighting PAC. He's trying to bait both of them into that situation but neither guy will take the bait, too risky.

He's has never dissed Pac. He thinks he's a good fighter but he feels that Floyd is the better boxer and a more tricky fight. Martinez trainer also feel that way. In an interview his trainer said that Martinez wants to fight both of them but a fight against Manny would be an easier fight, and that they would have to come up with a great game plan to beat Floyd.

Originally posted by wazaa. View PostThis is an honest question. Sergio has talked numerous times about Floyd and Manny but the tone is different when he addresses Floyd compared with Manny.
He is always respectful towards Floyd, compliments him and says that it would be an honor fighting him.
On the otherhand, when he talks about Manny, he downplays his latest victories and blatantly says that Manny is afraid of him.
Why do you guys think he does this?
because he preffers floyd over Pac and thinks that Pac is afraid of him.
whatta ****** question.

Martinez has never dissed Pac. It's not that he has an agenda, he's just being honest. He thinks Pac is a good fighter but he thinks that Floyd is the better boxer and a more difficult fight.

Top Rank makes fun of Sergio Martinez which therefore Martinez to not give any respect.
Look at Miguel Cotto he laughed when Ellie Seckbach believed Martinez was a PPV draw and all the other reporters laughed with him.
Sad but true, Sergio Martinez basically got screwed by sticking with Dibella
